Has any Baptist here ever bothered to go to another denomination's web site similar to this one? If so, when you post, do you attack the core beliefs of that denomination and post our distinctives? If you did do this, how long do you think the administrators and moderators of that site would allow the posts to go on?

I have no desire to go to a board sponsered by your denomination or any Pentecostal, Charasmatic or SDA group. They have their beliefs and we have ours. I would not stoop to the level of you and your magic act buddies, or the RCC that constantly belittles our faith. If I did, I will guarantee you I would last about less than a week. The degree of latitutde the moderators have given you and your allies at the RCC is way beyond what you deserve. I am not in charge, but if I was, you would have been gone weeks ago.

Yes, I've been to several. Each one swears they are the only true denomination that God endorses, and all others are inspired by Satan. Each one has several inner groups that fight each other daily.

You continue to claim that Baptists from this board have 'raided' Catholic boards (interesting choice of words) only to be banned. However, I see Baptists participating on Catholic boards all the time without becoming nasty and they do not get banned. So you are wrong, period.

This is a discussion forum. It is for debating. Debating might look like 'attack' to you but it is only because you don't like it when someone disagrees with what you believe. Get over it.

I guarantee YOU would be banned if you went to another denomonations board and posted with the attitude you have here. But most here would not.

The only thing in your posts that gives me a hint that you are sincere is your closing In Christ. The fact is, your group (SDA, Pentecostal, Charasmatic, etc) chose to come to a Baptist faith board. Those opposing you, myself, Arbo, Steaver, DHK, etc are members on a board where we worship and believe to be most in alignment with Scripture. Our debates are amongst members that share a common bond of Baptist distinctives, whether it be salvation only by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, eternal security, immersion, the local, autonomous church, cessastion of some gifts of the Holy Spirit, Sunday worship, etc.

No one here on Baptist Board has chosen to go to a Charasmatic or RCC board. The purpose of this thread is to speculate how we would be treated by moderators from a RCC or Charasmatic board if we posted with the same intent and manner as you and your allies from the Catholic Church are doing.

Moderators like DHK and Blackbird have given you all maximum latitude in jabbing Baptist beliefs. In fact, we are called down for debates amongst ourselves long before you all. One major example going on now are the examples of the character of Calvin and Calvinism.

You are treating this and other threads like we have been there and experimented with the idea of going to your boards. No one has. In fact, I believe that no one here is interested in visiting your type of boards to stir the pot. It speaks of character.

Do not be surprised a Baptist will defend the Baptist faith on a Baptist board. The miracle here is that you are allowed linger here for extended periods of time without action on the folks who run and own this board. Even for us, in the rules, a guiding principle is that "it is a priviledge to be here, not a right."

This is the other christian denominations section in which the beliefs of other denominations are expected to be presented and supported by non baptists. I think this is one of the purposes of this section. I do not understand your complaint.

God says there is 1 Lord, 1 Faith, 1 baptism. All the rest is man made window dressing. Which is fine, the dressing matters not, unless you begin to teach the dressing instead of the 1 Faith. (Eph 4)

I do try not interfere,even to pming my answer privately to some, who did thank me for my take on things, when a discussion is in the "baptist only" areas. I won't back down from insisting on scripture though in the open areas. I will politely post scripture. However, when it becomes apparent that they wish to have their ears tickled, I will not reply again. Not because I have no answer but because even if Christ himself appeared to them they would not listen.

I have run a Christian women's forum for over 10 years. We used to have a lot of fighting over issues that are non issues (KJBO and so forth)

The forum when I took it over was in the midst of a baptist vs catholic war. Some folks still think it is a baptist forum. I do not identify with ANY religion, though I have most recently attended a SBC church. (Loved the preacher could not handle the "praise" team)

We are a smaller forum. We are from all different religions (Bible based ones anyway, we do not allow wicca or atheist and such) all over the world. We have come to stand together under the banner of the 1 Faith of Eph 4.

My only complaint is that we have cultists posting here, who seem to be trying to bring down the true christianity!, and replace it with their fake one!

Don't be so quick to put the non-Christian label on them. Even Walter Martin who knew a thing or three about the major cult groups did not call the SDA cultic,though they were on the outer rim of orthodoxy. Donald G. Barnhouse agreed with him.

EGW is a false prophet.

Use some facts about her and SDAism, look them up, then comment. Study it. Neither of these two are the end all. She is definitely a false prophet, and they (SDA's) follow her teachings within 'another gospel' via an 'angel from heaven' preaching to them in visions to EGW. And yes, I am aware that Martin fell short in condemning this heresy. This shouldn't mean you should follow suit, which you have done unfortunately.

Or you're not following suit? Which is it?

If so, become one. They're not heretical according to you, so become Baptist and SDA and follow EGW's teachings and preach them as they do with all of her prophecies that did not come to fruition. Endorse her teachings as they do in your ministry, after all they're not a cult according to you.
