Overpass Collapses in Canada

    I just heard on NBC Nightly News that an overpass in Montreal, Canada, suddenly collapsed, injuring at least five people and trapping two other cars. One witness saw a motorcycle and two cars fly into the air when the overpass collapsed. :praying:

    THe bridge was only 35 years old and is inspected, like all bridges, on a regular basis.

    Oddly, this bridge was inspected and a piece of concrete was removed from the highway. No one went back to close the highway or find out what that piece of concrete was............It is sad that five lives have been lost, perhaps through human indifference.

    Human indifference is a great sin that is often overlooked . . .

    Had they used a gun, it would be murder.

    It does not bring any solace to the family, but I pray that Our Lord will send some of His people to comfort the grieving.
