Paradigm Shift

I thought your paradigm shift was to give up your belief that anyone who uses another version that the KJV is reading another Jesus.

Then you shouldn't worry yourself with the Rick Warrens, since they're using MVs like the NIV, NLT and so on.

 

Ehud, even the KJV condemns bearing false witness, gossiping, and the like.

Guess it's OK, as long as you dislike your target enough, huh?

Sad.

 

Wow, I didn't know we had a modern prophet on the BB. This guy knows exactly what Jesus wants when the Bible is silent on the subject. All I can say is WOW!!

Now, back to reality.

 

Do you ever read your KJVBible?? Did Jesus hang around whores? Did He separate from the world? Seems He only separated from legalists.

I love it when folks come here and start ridiculous threads and then bail out when their error is pointed out.

 

Come on now, SBCPreacher, get with it. Everybody knows the only instruments Jesus approved of were the pipe organ and the piano (oh, and maybe the banjo). He made it clear in Hessitations 54:23.

 

Is that the same passage where he said that the steel guitar and the harmonica were form the very pits of hell?

 

I checked out that website, and tried to read the 'Doctrinal' statement. Unfortunately, I could not read beyond the first statement, and 'stay' in relatively good standing on the Baptist Board, where a statement calls every Bible that is not "the King James Authorized Version" a "counterfeit".

(Never mind the small detail, that if the Bible the advocates are supporting is not published in England, under the entities that are permitted to do so, by the English crown, the version itself, is not only 'counterfeit', but stolen, as well.)

However as I was thinking along these lines, these ideas came to me.

I sure dunno' how God managed to get along for so many years instructing his prophets to record in a ___ ;

Jesus, went into a synagogue, and read from a ___ ;

Moses placed in the ark a part of a ____ ;

All the kings of Israel made their own personal copy of a ____ ;

David rejoiced in reading a ___ ;

The Apostle preached the world over, and virtually all of them were put to death for a ____ ;

Wycliffe and Tyndale give their very lives for giving the people, in their own language, a ____ ;

as likewise, Hus, Lattimer, and Ridley, to name but three men, gave their lives the flames for preaching a _____ ;

The Waldensians, Hugenots and Anabaptists all risked their lives for a _____ ;

John of Japan, and Nigel, two members of the BB (and perhaps some others of whom I am not aware), even as we speak, are putting any spare time they can find into working on translating a ____ ;

And Staupitz, Farel, Luther, Calvin, Knox, Melanchthon, Zwingli, and Beza', among others, sparked the Reformation with a ____ !

Ya' gotta' fill in the blanks. I'll give you a hint or two. According to the site, the word is the same for each blank, it's a "C" word, and can be found at the top of this post in large bold letters.

I have a better suggestion. Let's fill in the blanks with another single wored.

Let's try a "B" word, instead. I'll suggest "Bible"!

The shift happened when some fundamentalists started believing a myth.

 

I'm convinced, I'm shifting to the KJV only. The condemnation, the arrogance, and the pandering has changed my mind. Not!!
