Even pastors need a time of refreshing and renewal from the work they are called to do within the church. Pastoring a church is most often a spiritual battle different from what others go through.

Given your recent escapades, I'd think you'd know spiritual battles well.

Could you describe the spiritual battle that is different from other? In other words, is it because there are many battles going on at once, or the battle itself is unique?

I know my husband has worked both in the secular world in computers and the audio industry and has now been in the pastorate for a number of years. I can easily say that being a pastor has brought us to our knees more often than the worldly employment he has had. Having our vacation times has been vitally important for our family and for the sanity of my husband and I think this is a GREAT ministry!! I'm definitely going to be looking into it more for my husband and myself! Thanks Salty!

    Ann,
Mrs. Salty and I attended last Fall - and it was just wonderful! The one we attended - would be the one you would probally go to. It was held in a B&B -and the owners are Christians. The only thing the hosts ask is that you be at dinner. Other than that - the day belongs to you. (Pm Mrs Salty and she will give you more details)
