Figures. At least we know that the party is more important than conviction for Robertson.

Who would've thought that Pat Robertson would endorse a New York liberal.

There must be some money in it somewhere for Robertson.

I didn't think much of him before, but now I think much less of him.

I never did have a high opinion of Pat Robertson.

He's putting a false sense of security over important issues. Christians shouldn't vote for Rudy.

Rudy couldn't even stick it out with his first wife, now he's on number three?

He's not president material.

:applause: I couldn't agree more. I was very disappointed to see that on the internet today...too many people look to this man for Christian leadership, and he is endorsing someone who is obviously against Christian values. :BangHead: :tear:

That just gives me another reason not to vote for Rudy.

Well, I followed the "full story" link, but it took we to a page where neither Pat Robertson nor the Christian Coalition were mentioned. (The page I got to started: "NH Could Turn GOP Race Upside Down
By LIZ SIDOTI
Associated Press Writer
"

However I must admit to being uneasy about Christian churches and "personalities" endorsing any political candidate. What they do as private citizens is another matter.

Mee too!

I think Rudy was banking on getting the Christian Right's vote by this... which says a few things about Rudy...

1) He doesn't understand the Christian right.
2) He will stoop below low to pander votes
3) If he has to stoop this low, he knows he is in a desperate condition

By him doing this, it may have sealed the deal for other republicans to run against Hillary or Obama.

What he doesn't understand is that the Christians that put "W" in office have nothing to do with Robertson... most of them think Robertson is a nut case.

And in the long run, this hurts Rudy... but empowers the other true conservative Republicans...

One reporter on CNN said that this may be more about Pat than Rudy...
Pat has been losing credibility over the yrs. and IF Rudy is elected President, Pat can claim some power again...

Pat is all about getting power.

Can someone say Balaam?

Tim, are you saying Pat is a current-day Balaam, or a current-day donkey?

Which one did the talking?

Sometimes I wish he would just keep his mouth shut. He is an embarrasment to Christians.

I had no respect for Roberstson before this. He seems obcessed with raising money. The endorsement shows the fact that neither has any backbone or moral compass. Giuliani should look for endorsements that match his moral stances, and Robertson should endorse those that match his.

The only conclusion is that neither man has any beliefs, only what is advantageous at the moment.

No disrespect meant: But Pat Robertson carries no currency with me. None.
