Are any of you a fan of brother Paul Washer? He is what I call a hammer meaning that he slams the easy-believism strategy of most of modern evangelism. Greg Laurie, and most Fundamentalist preachers would do well to read this book. Not saying they are not leading souls into heaven, but they are deceiving many into thinking they are saved because they said a prayer years ago that they never believed in. I look forward to the book. Do you? Have you read his other books?

Another great thing about brother Paul is his love of the scripture and his exegetical skills. He would hang WinMan upside down if they both debated as brother Paul knows his stuff. He can defend original sin & refute both semi-Pelagianism and Pelagianism.

Oh, good. Another Paul Washer thread. Given his performance in the last one, I look forward to hearing what our interplanetary troll has to say about it.

As for me, as much as I love Brother Paul, I probably wouldn't it. Not because I would disagree with it but because there are just so many free resources on this subject and many of them from him.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Evan, do you do this because you're bored, you want to start a fight, or you just can't stand not posting something about Washer once a week? Not the least of which is the Bible.

Did Jesus ever get tired of preaching? Did Paul ever tire of doing evangelism? No I will not tire of preaching the word and preaching against "easy-believism."

That's not what you're doing ... you're glorifying Paul Washer.

TND? What are you so worried about? If PW is a loon like so many of the good folk here in BB land seem to think he is, then they won't give his message the time of day. I personally like PW and think a lot of what he has to say could be beneficial to the "modern" church.
