Bro Vaughn - What would be the motivation for such reprints? They seem to be of only local interest and not on a national or international scale.

I know that when I wrote Forward: A Brief History of the Baptists of Wisconsin there was a small demand (a few hundred copies). Is there a market appeal for the book recommended?

    Thanks!

Yes, Primitive Baptists are extremely self-aware of their history.

Dr. Bob, I am sure that some of the reprints are in direct appeal mostly to Primitive Baptists (or someone studying PB's). But the book mentioned above by Fristoe on the Ketockton Association is an important reprint for any Baptist historian. The Ketocton Association is one of the oldest associations in the country, and the period covered (1766-1808) does not even reach to the time of the "missionary" controversy (circa 1820-1835).
