    A man climbed a mountain in Northern India. He exerted great and strenuous effort to make it to the top. As he came up to the mountain top, he was surprised to see an old guru sitting, cross legged, at the very peak.

    The guru eyed him for a moment. Then asserted, very calmly, "Life is like a well."

    The man thought for a moment, then asked the guru, "What do you mean, 'Life is like a well.'"

    The guru peered at the man, then asked in a puzzled tone, "You mean... life is not like a well?"
