I boxed as a youngster, no problem. The secret is to fall down at the first swing and stay down until offical counts ten!!!

I've always been too blind to get in the ring, but I like to hit hte heavy bag hanging in my basement. I am also thinking about getting a speed bag as well.

I do find it hypocritical that they have singled out boxing while ignoring other violent sports that can have the same types of injuries.

There is allot of skill involved in it as well as physical training that you dont get from any other sport....something that makes boys into men. With proper head gear & refereeing, I would endorse it.
