    Thanks, TexasSky. It IS good to see the goodness of people. I wish that they would show more of this on the news. It would be more uplifting than to focus on the wickness that is going on.

    Praise the Lord for the good reports. As I watch the news from WWL online my heart breaks for them and their town.

    They are so upset at the bad news. I am sure some good news will cheer them up.

    "My precious daughter," she sobbed Wednesday. "I prayed to God to keep us safe in his loving care." Then, looking into an incongruously blue sky, she whimpered: "You're supposed to be a loving God. You're supposed to love us. And what have you done to us?"

    Suddenly, a woman emerged from the water and began walking toward her. She had long, disheveled black hair. "Mamma?" she shouted.

    "Oh my God, oh my God," the old woman screamed, kissing Glendalyn's hand and pressing it against her forehead.

    The 60-year-old Glendalyn Fletcher said she had floated through a wall when her house started to collapse around her, then swam to a neighbor's house, from which they were picked up Tuesday and left stranded on a water-locked section of Interstate 10.

    "God is good," said Camille Fletcher.
