Pentecostals are just like the democrats. They use scare tactics against anyone who would dare challenge their false agendas.

The big scare tactic is that one is "blaspheming" the Holy Spirit if anyone dares charge that their "miracles" are not authentic, fake, fraudulent, power of suggestion, or demonic in nature.

However, they are completely ignorant of the Biblical character of the "blasphemy of the Holy Spirit." There are three Biblical characteristics of that sin that are made very clear from its context:

1. There must be light - understand and know the Holy Spirit is working
2. Lost condition of the blasphemer -
3. Jesus is being authenticated as "the Christ" by the Holy Spirit

For example Paul claimed that he blasphemed but did it "ignorantly" and thus obtained forgiveness. When he did that he was:

1. Did not understand and know it was the Holy Spirit working
2. Lost
3. Rejected that Jesus was being authenticated as the Christ


So this is not a sin that saved people can commit as saved people have received and accepted Jesus as the Christ.

In regard to the third part, the Scriptures command saved people to "try the spirits to see if they are of God" (1 Jn. 4:1) and the Pentecostal "spirit" fails EVERY Biblical test and thus their "miracles, signs and wonders" originates form the "spirit of error."

The Pentecostal is his own SELF-AUTHENTICATING source while the Scriptures are moved to a SECONDARY position subject to their own PERSONAL SUBJECTIVE experiences.

Pentecostalism is REPLACEMENT theology. It replaces the Word of God by personal experience. It replaces the Word of God as final authority with experience as final authority.

The word of God is made subject to their experience rather than their experirence made subject to the word of God - Isa. 8:20.

Thus when scripture conflicts with their own testimony or experience, they reject any interpretation that conflicts with their subjective experience and deny that any non-pentecostal has the Spirit and is capable of providing a correct interpretation. Instead they make the scripture conform to their experiences. Hence, personal experiences trump God's Word. Of course this is the sign of the spirit of error (Isa. 8:19-20; 1 Jn. 4:1,5-6; 1 Cor. 14:36-37) as it makes God the author of confusion (1 Cor. 14:30).

I realize the historical use of "replacement theology" and I was not using it in that sense at all. I was employing those terms to describe how they replace God's word with personal subjective experience as their final authority.

Why don't you just say they aren't sola scriptura. BTW they believe they are.

The term "replacement" is used for an obvious reason. For the same obvious reason I used it to describe their replacement of the written word of God with their experience as final authority. Both are "theologically" in character.

What one says versus what one practice is not always the same. They do not practice sola scriptura at all! When they are presented with sound exegetical irrrefutable evidence against their position, then you really see what they actually believe. They will reject the exegesis, yet unable to respond exegetically, and ALWAYS condemn the exegete to be without the Spirit and scripture must be spiritually discerned - meaning if you don't have my experience you cannot properly discern the Scriptures. I have witnessed this countless of times in my discussions with them over the past 40 years - over and over and over again.

For example, look at my interpretation of 1 Cor. 12:29-30 which is exegetically sound and which completlely destroys their whole doctrine right at its very heart and emphasis. What is their response?

I love the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word and He loves me. He answers my prayers, He teaches me the word of God, He comforts me in times of tribulation, he blessed me with a wonderful godly wife. He uses my ministry to help countless number of people in many different languages world wide. He does all this and I don't deserve any of it but in spite of what I deserve. I have PEACE in my heart, a warm daily fellowship with His Spirit as I place before him all my life daily and look for his guidance and wisdom and I give him thanks every day many times a day and rejoice my salvation, His truth and that He is still blessing and using me for nearly 40 years of ministry now. I have had the privilage of seeing saved transformed lives under my ministry and I know Him and know I am saved with full assurance and I try by his grace to live a holy life on a daily basis and am so very thankful that when I fail, and I fail daily, that I can, and I do come to him several times a day for cleasning and come away cleansed, with restored peace and joy. All because of His grace and nothing because of me.

However, go read my thread on the purpose of miracles. The Word of God says if a person does not speak "according to this word it is because there is NO LIGHT IN THEM." Miracle power can be found with Satan as well as with God but the difference is one confirms the TRUTH while the other confirms LIES or false doctrine. Your signs and wonders confirm LIES not the truth of God's Word.
