pictures to DVD for funeral slide show

    Is there any free software to download to be able to burn pictures to DVD to play at a funeral for a slide show? If not what is the best route to take for this??

    If it's a Mac, it's easy. I do the slideshow through iPhoto, export it as a movie and then in iDVD, take the slideshow movie and burn it to DVD. It's amazingly easy but it takes a little time (to make the slideshow into a movie then to burn the DVD).

    If it's on a PC, I have no idea.

    What kind of program do you use to make the slideshow?

    The easiest option is to use something like Google Picassa and just use the computer to display the pictures. Will you be using this on a TV or a projector?
