Dr. Bob,

The state park may have been Letchworth State Park - it has three waterfalls on the Genesee River.

I heard its true that there are on country bumkins in Georgia!

Bubba Gib!

I'm not "trying" to say anything! I'm saying "country bumpkins" live in Georgia.

Back in the Carter era - I used to say that by Jimmy being elected president - it just went to prove that "anyone" could be elected president.

But when Clinton was elected - I thought that was taking "anyone" a step or two father than I cared to have it taken!

Been called a BUM by your KIN at Yankee Stadium. Actually never been in there. Found myself driving through NYC in stark-raving-fear.

Cannot imagine people living in the Bronx or Brooklyn or about 2/3 of Manhattan. Where does Barnabas the elder live?

I suspect it's all what you're used to - I was in our local Walmart yesterday - too many people to suit me!

But I reckon that Barnabas is used to all the people that must surround him on a daily basis. But I shouldn't speak for him!

Gib - I do know the difference between bumpkin and pumpkin. The pumpkin is usually orange - the neck of a bumpkin is usually "red"!

Trust you can see whose name is at the TOP of Santa's List this Christmas? And it looks like he not only has a red NECK, but a red FACE too.

Too much Christmas cheer for St. Nick!

Grandson Noah (age 4) got a flow up NASCAR "thingy" - don't really know what to call it. Like an air mattress, but HUGE.

So when the parents/grandparents were sitting and visiting in the kitchen, Noah was laying on it and playing with hot wheels and monster trucks and never budged! Really like it!

Dr. Bob, maybe that blow up Nascar thing is to keep the Hotwheels and Matchbox cars in ONE PLACE? Neat idea tho.

Hey, how many folks in your area buy snow tires or studded tires? We just got a chain law notification for the pass (I'm not going anywhere and there is no snow here in town).

Do folks in the non-ice/snow area get the special rain tires?

I just have regular tires on my ghetto cruiser (97 mercury Grand Marquis rear-wheel drive) and slip and slide on a skiff of precip.

That Antique Shop has a Bill Clinton wooden figure I was tempted to buy as a joke but kept thinking about bad karma.... and my TESTIMONY!
