Plane Crash

For lack of a better place to post this. I would like to ask for prayer for the remaining members of a family flying from Texas and crashing here (McAlester, OK) killing the father, mother, two boys in their early 20s and a 17 year old daughter.

It was a tragic accident and very rough on the rescue people due to the condition of the plane which tried to land, aborted to go around and spun into the ground just across the highway from the airport.

The family flies to grandmothers every Thanksgiving in Missouri (from Texas). There are no doubt a lot of people hurting over the loss of their loved ones and not knowing them also pray that if Jesus is not part of their lives, that He will be. Also, pray for the rescue team as they will never forget the horrible crash.

This touches me deeply. This is the exact same
thing that happened to my first husband a number
of years ago. The pilot was told to go back up
and circle, coming in for a landing, and the plane
crashed on the runway, killing both my husband
and the pilot. My husband was 29.5 exactly, and
the pilot was 32. We had two children ages five
and two.

Obviously, my heart goes out to the extended
families. I am praying for them, for the
witnesses, rescuers, and all others involved.

This had to be a terrible experience for you. Only you and others who have been through such tragedy can understand the full impact. This had to be horrible for the grandmother who was waiting for her family. Your better understanding makes your prayers all that much more special.
Thank you!

Update, we learned this morning at church (which was less than a block from the crash site) that the family were all Christians and hard workers (all of them including the kids) in their church in Texas. Praise the Lord.
