The French saved the world by prescribing hydroxychlorquine. The FDA lawyers followed the French lead.

So hydroxychloroquine isn’t a breakthrough drug, some rather bad things can accompany its use.

In my cardiology office just this week we have seen palpitations and some nasty arrhythmia associated with its prophylactic use. We’ve encouraged people not to use it without some medical supervision. I doubt, (that might not be a strong enough word) I don’t believe you’d ever find a cardiologist ordering the drug.

I don’t know why someone would use it outside of a doctor’s supervision. Is it not prescription only?

It will be a political issue this fall. Americans have politicised medical prescriptions. Trial lawyers will build new homes and buy empty buildings for pennies on the dollar. That's the dark side of our medical system.

Like that woman & husband that saw a dish-washing soap or drain cleaner, or whatever, that had this "hydroxychlorquine" as one of the
ingredients, took it & husband died??

It's a known fact that you CAN fix ignorant, but not STUPID; and observing the daily news it seems that there is far more STUPID than just ignorant!!

She was a big Dem donor and activist. She wanted a divorce so she gave her husband fish tank cleaner and killed him. She said Trump made her do it. She seems to have gotten away with it.

They ran computer searches of possible treatments and the computer found 90 medicines already in existence that might work. So we have some ideas about treatment.

Now the Senate (I think) is going to hold hearing about the origin of the virus--was it the Wuhan Laboratory, which has been closed down and silenced? Many people believe that this bat disease, which God never intended for humans to have, was engineered by the head of the Wuhan Laboratory Shi Zhengli, who has disappeared and imagine the surprise when the communists refused to really prove that she is alive and well or if she did engineer the virus from HIV, Sars, and a bat disease. So the experts know what the germ is under the microscope but now the Congress is going to hold a hearing to determine if this is a biological warfare germ that escaped. It is now thought that China lost 2.9 million people. Who knows?

Dr. Oz has been intervening HCQ experts who are telling him the side effects are virtually nonexistent. There are some that came about from extended use, but nothing significant. I also heard him say they actually never ordered ECGs before prescribing. This seems to be a new concern that they're kind of baffled about. I think it's all political. That said, doctors would probably be wise to do it for legal reasons alone, being this is so hyper political.
