A two-hour PBS documentary on the life of the prophet Muhammad, to air next week, is meant to help counter negative images of Muslims, according to its creators.

I think this aired before. If not, there was a similar program on before 9-11. A few years ago, there was something similar on TLC, which I did not catch.

I'm generally happy with PBS programming, and tend to find their content informative, enlightening, and educational. I was especially impressed with their airing a few seasons back with Dr Laura Schlessinger's "The Ten Commandments: A Divine Guide to Happiness" (or something to that effect). I have no reason to think that future programming would differ from the quality programming I've come to expect.

Seems here in the Nashville area some of the programming has become more "Pro-Muslim". I think this country is trying to hard to bend over backwards for one particular group. Since most of the terrorist acts against this country are committed by Arabs/Muslims, is it wrong to be suspicious of them? I think not.

I think this would be tantamount to racial/ethnic profiling, which in and of itself is wrong. Kind of like being afraid of black men because a large number of crimes are committed by black men. That's a kind of fear we should not allow ourselves to become slaves to.

can you fellas stand for just a little observation from a little fish? my hubby and I always make this comment, there aren't terrorists hiding behind every bush and tree,just as there aren't evildoers under every rock,etc. if pays to be attentive to our surroundings,but we can't get paranoid abo [IMG] ut everything.......there's where we trust that the good Lord is taking care of us, live our daily lives as normal as possible, and go to our beds at night with thankful hearts and the peace that only our Heavenly Father gives, He is awake so why should we worry??????? as a woman, I say the word "motherly concern" very often ...:) I'm not worrying, I'm just 'concerned'.......we need to pray for one another that we will remain true to the Lord and be a consistent witness whenever and whereever possible......GOd bless you all......smileyfish says hello from oHIo! :)<>{

It's still propaganda. Ibrahim Hooper (CAIR--see below) was on Fox News Channel today. The PBS program is being partially financed by CAIR and other Muslim groups to show Muhammed in a positive light. Of course Ibrahim Hooper called
Daniel Pipes (world known terrorism expert), the B word....that's right, Mr. Hooper who refused to say bin Laden is a terrorist or to condemn OBL called Daniel Pipes a bigot on the air. :rolleyes:

Like I said....it's Muslim propaganda.

Wake up and smell the coffee, American Patriots. All others....continue on in your politically correct deep sleep. [IMG]

Sheesh....what happened to "those who harbor terrorists, support terrorists, hide terrorists....?" It was a great speech, wasn't it? :rolleyes:

I was wondering how long it would take before someone used the "p" word.
