I noticed during a recent political debate that some people with a liberal agenda quickly began using deceit to defend what I would have considered an extreme liberal position.

Are we a significantly more liberal country than we were when I grew up?

Do some people struggle with objectivity?

Are some on the liberal agenda forgetting that some Americans are not liberal?

I have just completed an ongoing discussion on a local message board, and I'm thoroughly enlightened as to the pervasiveness of the liberal mindset. Their defense of the homosexual lifestyle, given the facts and figures presented by myself and another fellow, were summarily dismissed. Truth means absolutely nothing to them and in fact truth was a changeable commodity based on each ones feelings at a given time.
These liberals are serious, dedicated, unswayable, and unreachable for the Lord. They absolutely hate the Lord and everything He stands for. At least that is my observation.

Oh, I forgot. God is a Republican, White and American, too. My mistake.

God has made it clear through his word that murder and homosexuality are sins.

If he considers lust that is only in our heart a sin, He will not likely look kindly on those who support and condone murder and homosexuality.

Please show us anyone on this board who fits this description. I know you mentioned a "local" board, but are you implying that there are people who fit this description on our board? Notice I am asking you, as your post was not clear.

In any case, I certainly hope for your sake that you aren't saying that about anyone here.

    Regards,
    BiR

So is lying, cheating, stealing, etc etc.. Do your conversvative friends match any of those? Just look back at the last year and then answer...

The sooner, we as Christians admit that ALL politicans are corrupt and we stand together to vote for someone that is good, and not just "good enough" or "better than the other" then, and only then will we see the changes we expect to see.

Standing on one side of the other isn't going to get us anywhere because BOTH sides are against us as Christians.

Very well said. ALL life is in God's hands. Even the low life that wants to blow us up, and yet we are all ready to kill him/her in the name of America.

Which do we stand on more? The greater good of America, or the greater good for God?

In the last year of "conservative power" it sure hasn't shown...

Oh well.. that is in the past right? Why worry about those sort of things... Why harp of the past, why not just keep reliving it over and over again no matter which party is in power, and then some years later, someone will post a thread on this board about how the country has changed in his lifetime..

Or, more likely, someone will post a thread about the fall of that old nation, the USA.

They'll be, of course, posting in French...

I think that we are significantly a more liberal country than when I grew up. I guess if you’re over the age of 15, it’d be the same for you. What was socially wrong in my youth is promoted as normal through today’s entertainment, for example. What was considered right is now narrow minded and bigoted.

Politically, as a whole, I think we are more liberal. The liberal element is more predominant than in the past.

There is probably some truth to that. But whatever the level is it is a far cry from San Francisco Nancy Pelosi liberal. those two are on complete opposite ends of the spectrum.

    I agree.

    None that I knowingly supported.:godisgood:

Did you knowingly support any pro abortion candidates or advocates of homosexual "marriage"?

Never mind. That's between you and you know Who.
