    I live in a predominantly Mennonite and Amish farm community.

    The Amish (generally) do not vote or support political parties.
    Their position relates to their “Kingdom” theology (God’s kingdom vs man’s kingdom) and their nonresistance stance.

    I disagree with a lot of Amish theology when it comes to separation (I believe they withdraw rather than seperate).

    But I agree with them on this topic.

    I find it interesting that this was the position of Christians until "Christianity" became the official religion of secular government (as evidenced by the apologetics of men like Origen).

    Each must prayerfully consider their own obedience to God rather than insist others follow another person's convictions.
