Politically correctness on Islam.

Until they put the Bible back in schools Islam has no place in our public schools.

 

Do you want the Bible back in schools? If so, then we have a point of agreement (for a change). We Christians have been conned into this idea that God has no place in the institutions of our world - such as schools. We have bought into the idea that our faith only belongs in our "private lives" and / or behind church walls.

 

Now when I have not been rational?......:laugh:

 

You and I agree on a number of things. It is only when you get off on Wright tangents that we part company, along with you promotion of ungodly behaviors.

 

I thought you believed that church and state should be separate. I believe that church and state should be integrated and that, therefore, we get Bibles back in public schools.

 

Never said that. I just don't take it to the extreme Wright does.

They shouldnt.

 

If you ignore Islam, it doesn't mean it will go away. Social studies is not complete if you ignore the cultures and religions that don't agree with your own. We will never get along in the world unless we at least understand others. I don't believe in teaching religion in public schools, but I strongly agree with learning from a sociological viewpoint the cultures around the world.

 

"Getting along" is a choice that can be made with or without knowledge of other religions. And the failure to do so is completely on the side of Islam.
