Some folks love Lincoln; I detest him as a man and as a politician.

Some loved Clinton, but I never could figure out why.

Some applauded Arafat's demise, while elevating Menachem Begin.

THERE IS NO ACCOUNTING FOR "TASTE".

OPEN FORUM for anyone to share why we HATE certain politicians.

    I really can't find a Kennedy I do like.

Don't like Bill Clinton. Not one little bit. And I think even less of the Mrs.

I served under Jimmy Carter, and now feel like we are still paying for his foreign policies.

    Gerry Studds.....

Don't like the race-baiting Al Sharpton.

Don't like the joo-hater Jessie Jackson.

Didn't really like John Kerry, but what a gracious loser. I tip my hat.

  4. Curt,

I agree 100% esspecially concerning Jessie Jackson's racism. I like Sharpton a bit more though. I think he has more principle, even if I do disagree with just about EVERYTHING that comes out of his mouth.

    Pax Christi,

    Stephen

Ian Paisley, Tony Blair, Victor Yanukovich, David Blunkett (who's just resigned because it was found he hadn't turned a 'blind eye' to his lover's nanny's visa application being sped up; and because he's a fascist), don't think much of Bush but can't really bring myself to hate him (lovely Christian guy but born more to be elder in his local church rather than POTUS IMNSVHO :D ),...er...who else can I slag off? I'll get back to you...

    Yours in Christ

Carter for his betrayals. Clinton for his glibness that hides empty, grandiose ideas. Mrs. Clinton for wanting socialized medicine. Jacques Chiraq for his contempt for everyday Americans. Kofi Annan for his open anti-Americanism. Fidel Castro for his murders. Hosni Mubarak for biting the hand that feeds him. Robert Mugabe for his murders. Rev. Greg Dixon for being a cheapskate tax evader and cruel taskmaster to poor children. Barney Frank for his cheapness and his filth.

I had a nightmare the other night about Blunkett. You know that scene in the Empire Strikes Back when Darth Vader confronts Luke about his true pedigree? Well, in my dream he says "No, Luke, David Blunkett is your father".

Matt is pretty solid - and his view of Blunkett is pretty solid as well.

We don't even want to talk about Irish politicians ;)

The real tragedy about Blunkett - sorry to keep on about it but its the only bit of news we've had here all week - is that he didn't go for any of the right reasons - his introduction of internment without trial (which did kinda spoil the diatribes we were making over here about Guantanamo Bay), his proposed introduction of ID cards, his general authoritarianism, his affair with a married woman and his attempt to break up her family - no, he went on having marginally intervened using his office to speed up his lover's nanny's visa application and having bought a train ticket for her.

Funny old world...on second thoughts, no, not really.

    Yours in Christ

And don't forget his attempt to stop any speaking (inculding preaching) against Islam under the guise of "religious toleration."

Mike Huckabee because he pardons rapists and murderer with no regard for the victims and their families.

Arafat because he was a terrorist. Wait. You said politician. I take that back as he was a terrorist and not a legitimate political leader.

John Kerry for what he did to those POW's in Vietnam.

John McCain for being such a phony.

Bill and Hillary, for being so slick and the greatest threat to Democracy at home and around the world.

Kofi Annan, Jaques Chirac, et al for obvious reasons.

Jesse Jackson for being a race baiter.

I am sure I will think of more later, but this all I can think of right now.
