Poll: America in 20 years - 2026

Good P°ll, I do not see America as being here as we know it. It is clear we are living in the last days. I am looking for the Lord to rapture His saints just any day now. If this happens, then the tribulation period will be for 7 years and we will return to this earth to rule and reign with Christ for 1000 years. I do not see ungodly people in control 20 years from now.

 

I agree that America as we now know it will cease to exist.

Good Poll, LadyEagle. Without a doubt , I do believe Americas future is rather bleak but the good news is that Jesus is coming again.

10. The last days could be thousands of years from now - no one knows. I figure that technology will continue to improve and make our lives better. Man has been in trouble morally since The Fall in the Garden of Eden and I expect that to continue.

I think the USA will be crushed by debt both nationally and increasingly personally. The division between rich and poor will continue to grow while the middle-class decreases. With all our natural resources, good climate, fertile soil and relatively sparse population, I doubt we will descend to third world status in the short term - unless ownership of most of our resources becomes concentrated into the hands of the very few.

I'm curious to see how the next twenty years play out.

The so-called Islamo-fascism will implode as internal strife and cultural & denominational differences come to the forefront. Islam is no more monolithic than Christianity and internal strife will prevent any sort of world domination. If and when Saudi money and influence diminishes, there will be a backlash of moderation, tolerance and reason.

ALL SEEM TO AGREE that our kids are going to have a much harder row to hoe. Those with sufficient common sense and who are willing to work harder, longer, and/or smarter will do OK.

It is obvious that some economic/political systems are more efficient than others but my Libertarian friends seem to think a change of system changes one's place on the food chain. I generally disagree. Having common sense includes knowing how to work the system.

1. You are assuming that Satan had a total understanding of Whom he was dealing with.

2. You are assuming that Satan actually had the power to do what he claimed.

My God has always, is currently, and always will be King of kings and Lord of lords.

I feel sorry for you that apparently the Being that you conceive of as God apparently has His reign restricted by His creation.
