I was about to report this poll until I noticed you posted it about yourself.

Zero credibility is a hard mark to hit. Even the most delusional person on this board (and that isn't you, imo, by a long shot) gets some things right. Much more than that, I have never found you to be dishonest and you usually (so qualified because I haven't checked everything you've posted) provide one or more sources to back up your contentions.

Your sense of humor can be unsettling, but I'm fond of you for that.

I'm prejudiced against conspiracy theories as a first explanation, yet that does not mean that there are none. I think there is more collusion than actual conspiracy.

Just yes or no? You should have ranked it from 0-100% in 10% gradations.

Poncho you make people think and you are basically doing what we all do in giving our humble opinion ...what I don't care for is how the spirit is quenched so quickly when you post something... I think that is wrong and a good moderator would encourage debate and move the topic along with vitality. Lady Eagle for the most part does that and lets the chips fall where they may.

I know this your heart is about being an American and our citizens not getting shorted by all the sell outs that have put our country up for sale for me I see that as Republican leadership but you can make a case for some Democrats as well...(shocker! Bill and Hillary are basically moderate Republicans.)

We need a maverick an honest broker and brokers in leadership who will also give a hand up to a
3rd party and 4th that would really keep our government honest instead of the strangle hold a two party has on us.

This next election we need to throw them out and put people in who are for Americans and its honest piece of the pie that they deserve ..for it is they who have sacrificed with blood to set the world in balance and peace(God using us).

I do think the WTO is a cold and heartless organization that has no idea of the meaning of mercy all they see is cold hard numbers and do not see mom and pop stores or family farms that
define who we are in America ..it may be to late for them but we can still repent and turn back to doing it right.

I agree with Daisy a lot of collusion and business as usual from people in their catbird seat who have too much power.

What I don't like, poncho, is the way you dismiss contradiction to your ideas as propaganda. Anyone who disagrees with you, seems to be written off, and their intelligence insulted, by you. That's how I feel, anyway. (You asked)

What I do like, is that you have a great sense of humor, and your posts have a lot of personality. I would probably get along pretty well with you. We have things in common. (I'd tell you about our Bellanca someday, and pick some guitar with you.)

    Anyhoo, that's my $.02

If you have zero credibility, Poncho...

It has to be a global conspiracy. :D

You hammer the globalism theory very hard but you don't have zero credibility with me because of it. In politics there's always plenty of disagreement and it's easy for the positions to become entrenched or for the tempers to flare. It can be a challenge for us to be open to objections or questions even if we remain firmly convinced we're correct on a particular position.

A-PAL, thanks for the compliment. I'm blushing.

As far as the topic goes, you've taken a lot from some people on here, Poncho, but I think what you post is interesting and informative, even if I don't agree with everything. But this is the politics forum and a lot of these issues make people think instead of going along with the status quo. You exhibit grace under fire, a sense of humor to go along with it, and I've never seen you be down and out mean. I'm proud to call you my BB friend. [IMG]

He may be a really great guy for all I know. And I imagine he is not all that concerned about my opinion of him, but my problem with Poncho's conspiricy mindset is that he inserts it into every single topic, no matter what the subject matter. And then proceeds to drown out everyone else with a sheer volume of words....But hey, nothing personal

    Poncho,
I find your posts refreshing and honest. It is a great departure from the phoney arguing between the two entrenched political parties and are really the same, both globalists, and neither cares for the best intrests of the American people.

I disagree! There are still differences between the two main political parties on many issues which is evident by the way they line up when voting on key issues and by the way the voters line up to support their candidates. The Republicans are far more to the right than the Democrats but both are skewed too far to the left so the difference is only relative.

I do agree both parties support far more "big government" than ever before but that's a reflection of what too many of America's voters have come to expect. Many say they're against it but, at the same time, cry out for the government - especially the federal government - to solve all the problems we face not matter the cost. Until that stops there will be no change in the direction of government. The third parties do offer some alternatives but they don't reflect what is apparently the will of most voters - probably not the true majority of citizens - and therefore have no chance to gain decisive power.

Radical change is needed but will not come without some major events - probably involving suffering and a major reality check - that would serve as a catalyst for people to wake up and demand significant change. Until then we can expect many more people to demand that the government provide for them their every need at the expense of those who continue to produce goods and service of value. That means more - not less - government. There's a line of aspiring bureaucrats waiting to hold positions of power and take their cut in exchange for services given to voters. Another step that's needed to seal the deal is to give the right to vote to all residents - legal or otherwise - so they have may increase their demands.

Then - no now - government schools will educate its citizens. Then - already well on the way - government regulators will decide who does what, where, when, how, and why. Government doctors will care for us. Government police will protect an unarmed untrained incapable populous from everyone except the government. Government will disarm everyone in the name of security and assorted emergencies. Government will allot a retirement income according to need to all who've worked from the lifetime proceeds of that work contributed according to means. Government will own property and what it doesn't but decides it needs it will take by force. Government civil rights police will make sure no mention of Christ Jesus is uttered in public and no offensive criticism is given of any behavior approved and protected by law. I hope this is just a wild theory but I fear it is already happening.

Sounds like you believe in my "globalism theory" more than you are willing to admit Dragoon. ;)

If you look at the number of people that do not vote, and the number of people that are disguisted with both parties, with the correct leadership, both are quite beatable.

We do have some common points of view! I just see the problem as more within the nation and less to do with the world as a whole. I do hope America continues to be fully sovereign and thereby uniquely and positively different as it was in its founding.

I used to think along those lines once upon a time Dragoon. I even blamed all our problems on liberalism, till I started checking into the history and policies of the major players involved.

We aren't going to be a sovereign nation for much longer (if you can even call us that now) we'll be a nation state with our government subservient to the wants of globalists, internationalists if you prefer. We can hear it in the terminology of our "leaders" already. As well as see it reflected in their documents and policies.

Most Americans won't bother to take the time to look or listen hard enough though. I envy them in weird kind of way they have the luxury of dismissing it as conspiracy theory so are able to ignore the warning signs and people like me that try to point them out.

It's kind of like staring down the business end of a double barrel shotgun while the people around you are saying don't worry, we have no proof that the gun is loaded.

I should have said we've seen no proof the gun is loaded.
