Poll: Iraq

I believe the Iraqi people are being manipulated by factions that see gain in turmoil.

You can bet Iran and Al Qaeda have a hand in promoting sectarian violence.

It is my hope that the Iraqi man in the street will eventually realized they are being ill used.

 

I agree, so does the military industrial complex Halliburton and all their mercenaries. A perpetual war with an endless supply of enemies is akin to to job security and yields outstandingly consistant annual corporate profits.

That pretty much sums up the Bush policy in action in Iraq at the moment.

 

Plans only do so much. Then, it becomes a matter of execution. I think the execution has failed us just as much as the plans have. Insurgents have been more stubborn than we thought.

 

Yes there was/is a plan. Same old plays from the same old playbook, Julius Caesar himself wrote it. They're just playing dumb in front of the cameras these guys use stupidity as a cover they know exactly what they are doing. The plan is to gain control of Eurasia by force and to subdue and fleece America by manipulation of fear and stealth. The people that write the policies for those that call the shots have never been shy about telling us this. We just refuse to listen or find it easier to call those that do kooks and weirdos.

 

Iran wants to see a victory by the Shi'ite extremists. I see them backing that faction. They've already discussed a military alliance. Then they would achieve that, an alliance between two radical Islamic states in the mideast. Are we really better off than we were 5 years ago?

Are our troops going to get involved in an Iraquii civil war? I hope not.

 

Well, the Sunni minority ran Iraq before and we sure didn't like that arrangement either.

The Shiites are the majority and they will end up in most of the key positions in the Iraqi government.

I don't see how we can expect any other result nor should we if we believe in abiding by the results of free and fair elections.

 

A civil war should get the Kurds their own nation. and the rest can continue 1000 years of tribal warfare.
