Poll: Nearly half of Republican women wouldn't vote for Trump

A new survey of women voters suggests a general election contest between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton could be disastrous for the Republican Party.

Nearly half of the female Republican electorate (47 percent) currently has a difficult time imagining voting for Trump as the Republican presidential nominee, according to the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.

Far fewer say the same of Trump's two remaining opponents, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (32 percent) and Ohio Gov. John Kasich (27 percent).

Trump also has the worst favorability rating among female voters overall of any remaining Republican presidential hopeful. Seventy percent of women voters harbor negative views of the brash New York billionaire, compared to just 21 percent who view him favorably.

I will edit the third quote of Donald Trump's comment about women to make it less offensive.

God hasn't been divorced three times.
God hasn't said disgusting things about individual women.

And I frankly can't see how some Christians can rationalize standing before God and saying they supported some of these people because they believed that person could "take the country back" or "turn the country around".

Yep. The standing before God saying "Yep, I voted for him!" is what keeps me from doing it - and the fact that I find both of them repugnant and Sanders as well. I'm just praying that there is a viable third party candidate that can take my vote because with these three, it would be enough of a reason to stay home.

And this is what I find distressing. As many Southern Baptists alone as there are, we couldn't come up with one decent candidate to make us want to vote. I'll write someone in as I have the last few times.
