Pope Francis says Hell is not Real...Amongst Other Things

Pope Francis says Hell is not Real...Amongst Other Things?

Through humility, soul searching, and prayerful contemplation we have gained a new understanding of certain dogmas. The church no longer believes in a literal hell where people suffer. This doctrine is incompatible with the infinite love of God. God is not a judge but a friend and a lover of humanity. God seeks not to condemn but only to embrace. Like the fable of Adam and Eve, we see hell as a literary device. Hell is merely a metaphor for the isolated soul, which like all souls ultimately will be united in love with God” Pope Francis declared.

In a speech that shocked many, the Pope claimed “All religions are true, because they are true in the hearts of all those who believe in them. What other kind of truth is there? In the past, the church has been harsh on those it deemed morally wrong or sinful. Today, we no longer judge. Like a loving father, we never condemn our children. Our church is big enough for heterosexuals and homosexuals, for the pro-life and the pro-choice! For conservatives and liberals, even communists are welcome and have joined us. We all love and worship the same God.”

This is why the church should not rally to the defense of false teachers.

Unless they are 100% for God and His truth, don't let the world think we support them and by default their false teaching.

We must not author confusion.

Hold on for a second...

There's no such thing as the Third Vatican Council.

The Second Vatican Council conclude in

Even Roman Catholic press is saying that there is no Third Vatican Council. Since most Protestants don't understand the nature of massive ecumenical councils, let me give you a quick primer on the previous two Vatican Councils:

Vatican Council I - Lasted from June 1868 until October 1870 and covered things like Papal Infallibility and the Perpetual Virginity of Mary.
Vatican Council II - lasted from October 1962 until December 1965 and dealt with issues like de-Latinizing Mass and produced Lumen Gentium which has been a major change in the RCC's ecclesiology.

In other words...if there was a Vatican III it would be MAJOR news and not happen over a weekend. So, that said...

The original content on this blog is largely satirical.

So, I will say this entire post is ridiculous and false.

I'm reading around and saying there just can't be any way that the Pope has said this. Also attributed to him:

Whether we worship at a church, a synagogue, a mosque or a mandir, it does not matter. Whether we call God, Jesus, Adonai, Allah or Krishna, we all worship the same God of love. This truth is self-evident to all who have love and humility in their hearts!”

If he is really saying these things, I would not be surprised that he called a third vatican council.

But he's not saying these things. Listen, I'm not a Roman Catholic (or any Catholic) but the man didn't say this stuff.

If he was advocating for a Vatican III that would be news. The RCC needs one and it would certainly help.

But he hasn't yet done this publicly and he hasn't said what you've quoted. Maybe I'm confused by your post, but these things aren't true.

Read a few other articles on this Diversity Chronicle web site and one can easily see it is an radical LGBT site. Actually there is some very sick stuff on it.

I'm gonna go with what you're saying because I'm only seeing this at that one location and would think something like this would , as you said be all over the place. Hopefully it's just a satirical piece.

The POPE is Respected by the Emergent Church...

This is what the emergent church is teaching, and the newest Pope is one of their herpes...no you can see why?

Oh, please .....

It's the Diversity Chronicle for pete's sake - every article is a parody or spoof. It's like the Daily Caller or Landover - they just write these lies, masking them as truth, for entertainment purposes - and to make very gullible people have a hissy fit. There are more of these things out there than you can shake a stick at. These guys get a chill and a thrill everytime they see people citing their "news" as truth.

Here's their disclaimer.
