Okay its the start of a new month and I can get a book. I am thinking about getting a good book on PostModernism, but there are hundreds to choose from. Erickson has some books, as well as DA Carson and other authors. However one I have my mind on is called Deliver us from Evil by Ravi Zacharias. Erickson and DA Carson are not apologists, so I think Ravi probably does a better job writing on such a topic. Have you read this book? Which book do you recommend?

DA Carson's "Becoming Conversant with the emerging church" is an excellent book, if emerging church is sort of what you are interested in.

As a general description of the way postmodern's approach life and the world, I would recommend "Soul Tsunami" by Leonard Sweet. It is less theological, but gives great insight into a changing world (its about 10 years old though).

If you want to read a postmodern Pastor who advocates Postmodern "Christianity" then read "A new kind of Christian" by Brian McLaren (though he's probably a heretic).

For a good overview of lots of worldviews, including postmodernism and how it compares with modernism, Get "The Universe Next door" by James w. Sire.

12 strings I am not as interested with the emerging church as I am with PostModernism. I know there is overlap but I am more interested in books on PostModernism. I should check out the books you mentioned. Thanks..

Though I'm not sure you'll read it since it is not by Lutzer or Jeremiah ;), Truth is stranger than it used to be might be what you are looking for.
