Pray for Job prospects

I've asked for prayer about this on several occasions, but I need some more prayer.

I've interviewed extensively with one company, and they are in the decision-making process following background checks. Please pray that I am able to get this position.

I've applied at other places, but pretty much all my work experience is in the church, and my degree is in ministry.

I'm not giving up on ministry or serving God, but it has become apparent that I am not right for my current place of service. I want to leave before I end up unintentionally doing more harm. I don't want to jump to another church because I don't feel called to that. I've always had issues about making my living from the church, so I feel that a bivocational ministry is the best for me.

I would just resign without having another job (I have some savings to get me by), but I can't because I live in one of the church's houses. I can't rent an apartment without a steady income.

A lot of things emerged after I came to this church, including some theological issues. Suffice it to say, I need your prayers and God's help to get my family to where we need to be.

I got a phone call this evening...I got the job! Moreover, it was at a 10% higher salary than I expected!

Now I need some prayers that we are able to find a nice apartment at a reasonable price. God will provide.

 

We applied for an apartment today that is in our price range and will suit us well. Pray that everything goes through!
