Pray for my 73 YO sister

Just found out that my 73 YO sister is in the hospital in FL. She has some very serious issues with her bowels which have put her in much pain and have required her being fed through a tube that's been inserted in her nose.

She and my BIL have gone through a lot in the past two decades. In the latter 1990's they lost a son to cancer. During this same time period she also had the primary responsibility of caring for our mother which we lost to Alzheimer's in late 2003. In the recent past, both my sister and BIL have already had several medical issues themselves--this just being the latest one.

Through it all they've done what they could to be faithful in serving the Lord through their evangelical church in central FL (somewhere near Ocala).

Please pray for not only my sister, but also for my BIL.

 

Here's an update on the status of my sister Nancy.

She returned home from the hospital today (Sat., Aug. 13) but she is very,very weak and will be in the recovery mode probably for a long while.

Both she and my BIL really appreciate your praying for her (and him too) and ask that you continue to do so.
