Pray for young Colby Naylor

    Saw this item on AWANA's (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed youth organization) Facebook page and thought it is worth passing on:

    Please pray for Truth & Training (Grades 3 - 6) clubber Colby Naylor who attends AWANA's at Little Union Baptist Church in Calvin, West Virginia.

    Last night (Wed., Aug. 18, 2011) he was accidently shot in the head and is in very serious condition.

    Please remember this young person and the parents in your prayers.

    Yes, we are praying right now for all who are concern including the shooter who did not do it intentionally.

    Lord, Guide the doctor's hands to remove the bullet(?) and pray that Colby will not suffer any complications because of this injury. Bring peace to his parents, friends and the shooter who needs comfort from you too, Lord. Asking in Jesus' name. Amen

    I just found out that young Colby went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, August 21.

    Please continue to pray for Colby's family and friends.

    Our Lord had a reason for this--what we'd certainly call a tragedy--to happen.

    Who knows, maybe some people will come to receive Christ as Savior as a result of this incident.
