Prayer for My Son

    Hello Everyone,

    My wife took our oldest son (two and a half years old) to the doctor today, and the doctor prescribed speech and occupational therapy for him. He said that he is displaying characteristics of autism.

    We have struggled with behavior and communication issues with him, so it makes sense, but it is still difficult to process.

    Please pray for my son and our family.

    His name is Nathaniel.

    I have a friend who's son was diagnosed at about 3 years old. He is 7 now, and doing great! Happy, sweet little boy!

    An early diagnoses is a blessing. I'll be praying for Nathaniel.

    My nephew is Autistic.......and one heckuva tough kid. I plan on making a Defensive Tackle out of him...he seems very willing and able. Different than the other kids....in a VERY special way.

    The kid is very sweet..................but extraordinarily strong and TUFF for a six year old. He does not feel pain like "normal" people. That factor, and his ability to turn his meanness on and off, like a lightswitch, means he may be a future pro football player. I look forward to watching this boy become a man...a very LARGE man.
    He's kinda like "The Waterboy meets Rainman"...................62


    The next 20 years are going to be a blast ...for me...and "the kid".

    If Nate stands on his tip-toes and "flags his wings" all the time...he may be a future "ballplayer " like my nephew Jake ! Jake's actions before the snap...would have freaked me out , as a lineman...and INTIMIDATED THE crap out of me. That's 90% of the "game". Jake IS a leading tackler on his teams.

    I've worked with some absolutely wonderful children over the years who happened to be autistic.
