Neither, but thanks for the pretrib, premil chart. I hadn't seen one of those in years.

Questions for my premil friends... Just wondering, when Jesus (and others) said He was coming soon, what did He mean? Also, what did Jesus mean when he said "this same generation shall not pass away"?

Jesus meant exactly what He said: Those present would be there still after a few days as soon as He has died and rose again. Then was the beginning of the Kingdom of heaven and God. We still live in its beginning today. Soon when Jesus has come we shall enter into that 'heavenly' Kingdom through Christ's presence on THIS earth "made new". "Come Lord Jesus, come quickly!"

Rev 20 "A thousand years" is really 1000 years - the Bible is actually true.

Rev 20:4 the FIRST general resurrection is actually the FIRST and is separated from the SECOND and final general resurrection by exactly 1000 years. The Bible is actually true.

Rev 19 the coming of Christ described here is the same as we see in Matt 24 and in 1Thess 4. It all fits!!

Matt 17 Christ glorified with Elijah and Moses as He will be with those at the end of time who are raised from the dead (Moses) and who are translated (Elijah) at His second coming.

It all works!

It all fits!

What a wonderful Word of God we have!

In Christ,

Bob

Quote: " "A thousand years" is really 1000 years - the Bible is actually true."

The Revelation is a book of symbols; yet the 1000 years must not be a symbol? What for another 100 years after jesus had come to make an end of sin so that He may go on another 1000 years to deal with sin and afterwards still carry on during the final judgement to deal with sin? Distasteful! Unwrthy the finished work of Christ at his second coming! It's a complete disfit of a wreck - nothing 'works'!
