Rom 10:14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?
Rom 10:15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!"

People can get saved by hearing the word of God even if the person is living a poor testimony, the reason I got saved is because a friend of mine use to do drugs with me and talk to me about Christ and the word of God.
Now on the other hand, even if you lived a great life, but you never shared the word of God, well then people won't and cannot get saved.
the word of God is what saves and the word must be preached as someone has already posted.
So basically the quote you gave is flowery and watery at best, heresy at worst.
You've never said anything truer.
Some have to reach the deepest depths of hell no matter what those sins are until the only hope they have is to look up. When it is ALL of Christ and none of you. Mans nature is too strong I can get through this on my own. It is pride that got us there and only Gods mercy will get us out. We reach up to God because by the sacrifice of his Son Jesus Christ he reached down to us first... Brother Glen
