Clinton will ask Trump to be her Running-Mate out of a sense of gratitude.

That would fit Trump's main criteria for VP running mates--pick someone less competent and less liked than yourself so no assassin would try to kill you.

Plus, it would further show Trump's incompetence. Running mates are usually selected to help deliver votes in a state needed to win the presidency. Ben Carson delivers nothing.

He is already talking about making Trey Goudy the AG. I could definitely buy that. I am interested in seeing who he would name as VP.

Hmm, wonder why I get the feeling you'll find something wrong and have an agenda against any Republican candidate or his VP, regardless? ...and that such is somehow strange for one who claims not to be a liberal...

BTW, the sarcasm seems unnecessary, just make a prediction if you actually have one. I'd like to hear it.

Well since he supported his reelection campaign financially and they align on just about every issue I say Harry Reid. That is if Hillary doesn't use Mr. Reid first, then the Donald would go and get Ms. Pelosi since they too see eye to eye on the issues.

Hard to say, but it will need to be a politician.

He needs someone more conservative than himself (shouldn't be hard), preferably with some foreign policy experience, and from a swing state. His best choice would be Kasich, but Kasich has said he won't be anyone's VP. Marco Rubio would fit the bill, and would help with Hispanics. Though limited with foreign policy experience, Chris Christie would work.

He ought to take one of these three guys. But the question was to predict Donald's pick. So I don't know.

I suppose we'll never know who, if anyone, turns him down.

Well who is the most moderate liberal leaning Republican besides Trump Republican, oh yea I know John Boehner. Cause to Boehner the best of the conservatives that was left in the race was Cruz and we know what the Donald got Boehner to say about Cruz.

Yep, now we're moving this in the right direction. Every one of them have been the establishment whose words trump has parroted for the last 10 years.

Throw in O'reilly and Levin, and it's a full house.

He'll give the New Mexico governor (Susana Martinez) a look because O'reilly mentioned her.

Kasich is anything and everything other than more conservative than Trump. Good grief.

With Ted Cruz out of the race and John Kasich set to announce he’s suspending his campaign later today, presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump is wasting no time in moving forward on building out his campaign team, amassing a team of advisers and beginning to review potential vice presidential running mates.

To help him with the latter, Trump told the New York Times that Ben Carson will serve on a selection committee to find his running mate.

It's either going to be Carson or Christie since he made a deal with them to drop out and endorse him.

Kasich would be a major turn-off to me. I, and I believe many others, are looking to get away from politicians.

I believe Dr. Ben Carson would be of great benefit toward keeping Trump's values in line. I'd feel much better with his counseling and the focuses he has being part of the picture.

    Rubio would be aight...

Christie would cause to much conflict...

Florida and Ohio are key. Kasich or Rubio would make sense. Scott Walker or Rick Scott, too.
