Prediction for the BCS Title Game

Sorry, but I just don't think Alabama will make it past the Gators. They cannot score more than 50 points per game on a regular basis and the Ol' Gators can. Heck the Gators usually score 50 by Half-Time. It will be a good game if Alabama brings their A-Game and a different Offence. I think that Oklahoma VS the Gators would be a more explosive scoring game in my opinion.

 

I think it will be Flor and OK and I hope this again really makes people realize how much the BCS stinks!

Texas beat OK head to head and they will still jump over them en route to the championship game.

 

For the want of that kid at Texas who dropped the INT right before the Texas Tech TD that won the game, there would be little argument about who belongs in the championship game. I think it should be Texas since they beat Oklahoma on a neutral field. It would be a travesty if Texas Tech wound up in the championship game after being destroyed.

 

I don't think Tech will be playing in the title game after their dismal performance Saturday night in Norman. It's going to be UT (I'm hoping) vs Florida in the BCS Championship Bowl game.

 

Welcome to the board. Unfortunately, if both OK and UT win their next game which they should OK will jump UT in the polls and be the team that takes on Missouri in the Big 12 championship. Then if OK wins they will take on the winner of the SEC championship. Of course stranger things have happened.

 

Let TT humble Florida. I want to see a Texas-OU Major Bowl Remix.

 

Yeah, Texas and Oklahoma are shaking in their collective cowboys boots over the possibility of facing a team that lost to Ole Miss on their homefield.

If Oklahoma eliminated Texas Tech from BCS Championship Game consideration, then it comes down to Texas and Oklahoma head-to-head. I watched that game and Texas won.

I think that Florida would defeat either Texas or Oklahoma.

 

Wow...I remember Ohio State fans downplaying Florida as well.

I'll give Oklahoma some credit...their defense was impressive against TT. That's been my knock on the Big 12 all along. But if the Sooners can bring that defense to a BCS game, it could be close. I still would pick Florida, though.

 

Ask Steve Spurrier and South Carolina, one of the radio shows up there always lets us know now when it is 56 to 6.

 

I would not rule out Alabama playing for the national championship. I am hoping for an Alabama/OK matchup.

It is not a given that Florida will beat Bama in the SEC Championship game. When two dynamic SEC teams meet, all bets are off.

I might that it is not a given that Bama will beat Auburn in the Iron Bowl this coming Saturday. Bama is hungry for a win over Auburn after taking a whipping for six consecutive years. On paper, Bama should win. It depends on which Bama team shows up.
