But It's good to see you embrace a Democrat's ideas for a change.

Unfortunately it's not one of the ideas that the D party embraces itself anymore. I think JFK was the last D to espouse such an idea; at least AFAIR.

Would that the Rs were at least as conservative today as the Ds were in that day.

President Kennedy was one of our nation's first "neocons".

Excessive government spending and burdensome business and personal taxes deepen a recession and make it last longer.

If a tax cut is a good idea during a downturn, it's an especially good idea in a recession.

All the government spending in the world will not cure this recession, only make it worse and eventually bankrupt the country.

Kennedy knew this.

It is foreign thinking to today's democrats. That's why they are talking only about spending projects, not stimulus packages to help businesses increase production and profitability.
