This thread is ONLY for positive comments about the president. All posts must be worded positively. This is not a discussion thread, but purely to post comments in a positive manner. I will not edit posts that do not fit the bill unless they violate BB rules, but am asking all posters to comply.

President Bush is a better president than Al Gore or Senator Kerry would have been.
President Bush is man enough to admit that the relief efforts had been unacceptable.

Well, here is a man who was handed two great tradgedies: 911 and Katrina. It is easy to criticise, but who could have handled them better?

President Bush does not have the moral depravity of his predecessor.
President Bush does not govern by polls

When President Bush meets with persons who have endured losses or tragedy, I see such empathy in his eyes. I believe he really cares. He's also NOT afraid to hug a young woman and kiss the top of her head while she tells him about what her child needs.

I think George W. Bush is a Christian man with a big heart. He's not perfect, but neither am I. [IMG]

I'm proud to say I voted for him.

President Bush is despised by liberal Europeans. That has to speak well for him [IMG] .

I could not thnk of a better man for the job, especially given the circumstances America has faced the last 5+ years. President Bush is honest at his core which is wonderful for a nation. He consistantly does what he says he'll do. He has overcome much adversity in his life through which his character has been tested and purified. He is true to his wife, which seems to be a trait almost limited to the Republicans. If he drives a Chevy then he pretty much is perfect. [IMG] ;)

President Bush has great tenacity. He holds to some of his views knowing that his biggest bloc of supporters do not like them. Some other presidents change their views at a whim.

He is despised by liberal democrats (now there's a redundant statement). That has to speak well for him. Look, Bush wasnt my choice in the primaries back in 1999. I voted for Steve Forbes. But Al Gore? or John Kerry? I shudder.

SOURCE </font>[/QUOTE]President Bush is a better President that your candidates Peroutka and Baldwin would have been or any of the other third parties candidates, C4K.

Really, C4K, you are so associated with the opposition to Bush and so associated with the Independents that I think that you should leave it to loyal, card-carrying Republicans to defend the President or let him defend himself without your starting threads.

Why shoud you care? It's not natural.

Positive comments about the President...um...well...let's see...

Once he decides what he believes to be the right thing, he sticks to his guns. I truly admire this in him.

He does not bow to the poll god.

He knows his own mind and doesn't need a poll to tell him how to govern.

He is a great commander in chief. He swiftly responded after our country being attacked by terrorists.

The wonderful people of the President's home
state of Texas, the Baptists of Texas, have
donated dozens of their summer camps for
    refugee camps until next summer.

This thread is about President Bush. Not about the Baptists of Texas or plywood, please.
