Oh America, the great, the mighty, who has devastated entire cities by your great power. You have overthrown other nations, and your rule extends all around the world. You have become high and lofty, to the moon and to the stars, yet against you the fierce wrath of God comes. Your people celebrate, with festival and party, with music and revelry, unaware that that swift destruction draws near, from coast to coast. The mountains shake, and the oceans roar. Thunderstorms envelope your entire skies, like a book being shut. A terrifying sight is reported from Israel, a great light has appeared in the sky. Your people cry in shock and terror, and your leaders hide in bunkers. The sound of loud trumpet is heard, and a remnant is gathered from within you to safety. Day by day for seven days plagues come upon you. Your destruction comes as nothing that has ever happened before, nor will ever happen again. Your cities shake violently, and become rubble. Even Rome shakes, and is split in three. Your tall skyscrapers fall. Your cars are crushed by large hail. Your oceans and rivers become blood. Your inhabitants are struck with boils, and even your most beautiful become loathsome to look at. The sun burns your people like ants scorched under a magnifying glass. Upon you utter darkness comes, and the seeing become like the blind. In agony and anger your inhabitants curse God, yet the worst has not yet come. One by one your inhabitants are plucked out like weeds, and taken like prisoners to stand trial. In wailing and gnashing of teeth they stand accused, and upon burning lava they are thrown. Their rotting corpses become food for maggots. Oh America, your cities are left unto you desolate. Stories will be told of you, like Sodom and Egypt, a wicked nation judged by God.
