How long have you been Catholic?

I really enjoy talking about Catholic doctrine. I have had a chance to read Catholic Digest for a number of years and have been published a time or two in that magazine asking a question of Fr. Ken Ryan back when he was alive.

Here is a question for you - what are your views on "sola scriptura" (defined as -- testing all doctrine against the standard of truth -- scripture).

Another question would be -- "What is your view of the New Covenant" -- is ite really confined to the Catholic Mass "The New Covenant in my blood" OR is it also found outside the RC MASS?

And finally - what foundation would/should a Catholic use when proving/demonstrating doctrine with non-Catholics? What "common ground"?

I have a question for you:

Cardinal Law

So far, every single Catholic who has answered that thread has indicated that they are not angry over this and have no problem with Cardinal Law having a place of honor at the Pope's funeral and voting for the next Pope. What say you? Does this not make you angry, and perhaps indicate an arrogance in the leadership of the Catholic Church and a need for reform and more accountability among your leaders at the very top?
