This is mainly directed to the Administrator because
I downloaded and installed Mozilla Firefox after reading that post about security leaks in IE.
Firefox is good, except, I don't think it supports tables and background images, or certain versions of css.
For one, the Baptist Board splash page uses tables where it lists down the top 20 discussions first. My mozilla does not show the table borders at all.
If you are using mozilla firefox, and you go to our church's homepage at http://www.columbiaprimitivebaptist.com, you might get the image on the index page, but, not on the second page, and you probably won't get the background images embedded on the other pages. In fact, if you right click on a white space, you will probably see the display background image tab on the menu grayed out.
I used css for the background-images (inline)of the other pages, and used <td style=> to use images on a table.
I say probably and might, because if there is a tweak I need to do somewhere, you may say you are getting background images in yours.
I know they have a technical help forum, but, it's not really a technical help thing as in mozzilla technicians, you know what I mean ? They're just posters in the forum who also use firefox, and they may or may not know the answer to your problem.
I posted this problem and all I got back was somebody's "mine doesn't load bg images on these sites too....."
So, administrator, and those using mozilla, can you help, please ?
I understand mozilla is akin to netscape but netscape supports css and background-images, and I'd hate to think we'll need to figure out another dhtml or js script so firefox displays images and tables correctly.
Thanks for any inputs.
