Fully Automatic weapons were bought back for their value by the government, Semi Automatic weapons can still be bought providing that you have a licence. To get a licence you have to do a 10 week course in how to own and maintain safely a firearm.

We had Vietnamese Gangs in the 1980's, Greek and Italian Gangs in the 1970's. As well as plenty of Australian Gangs it has been going on for a long time, and the problem that the state of New South Wales has is that it has a left wing Labor government who are to concerned about being politically correct rather than having the courage to deal with the gang problems in their areas.

Its really sad, yet it is true that the Ku Klux Klan have entered Australia and are quite popular with neo nazi groups that are fuelling all of this violence. Hopefully laws that are being rushed through that states parliment will put an end to these gangs of idiots.

 

And let us not forget.....it is really warm, there is a lot of sunburn happening and a lot of alcohol goes down the throats.....I am thinking our good police should cool these idiots down with water canon.....no excuse for loutish thuggery, don't care if you are black, white or brindle.....

 

Australia does not need to go down the road to the insane mania Americans seem to have for guns....most folks I would not trust with a wet fish let alone a gun..........
