"I think part of the answer is trying to reform our criminal justice system,"

What's wrong with having secret courts, massive corruption, government investigating it's own crimes and prisons for profit?

Disappointed. Read the whole article and not one accusation laying even a fraction of the blame on the main stream media.

Also, I see that Paul is trying to curry favor with his own little subset of specialty voters by calling for restoring the voting rights of violent felons.

Democrats court illegal immigrants for votes; Rand Paul courts violent felons. Way to go Rand Paul!

The quote from the article: "… to restore voting rights for non-violent felons who’ve served their sentences."

Sen. Rand Paul is renewing his call for reform of the nation's criminal justice system, placing "culpability for the tragedy in Ferguson … mostly" on politicians.

Just like Benghazi .... someone at the top is gun shy.

and I have no problem with that.

New York State restores the rights of felons AFTER all prison time and/or parole time is completed.

If only the mainstream media and the leftist democrat politicians paid as much attention to the murders in O'Bamma's hometown: 377 so far the year, one a 3 year old child.
