Hmmm, I seriously believe nobody cares anymore. Catholism will expire on its own very soon.
The article is from 2016 and predates the McCarrick scandal. Some US growth was from Latin American immigrants, legal & illegal. Also, the African church is much too conservative for the Vatican & Cardinal Sarah has to walk on eggs. Because Pope Francis has elevated so many men to Cardinal & because Cardinals over 80 years old are no longer allowed to vote, the next Pope will probably be a liberal.
Meanwhile the Vatican allows Jeff Sachs to speak at the Vatican a couple of times a week. Sachs says that Trump is the number one problem in the world because the US dropped out of the Paris Accords as well as Obama's deal with Iran. He complains about overpopulation as says that Africans & Asians are having too many children. American Catholics are criticized as too pro-life. The Vatican urges support for the UN & has signed papers with Islamic leaders. Pope Francis is openly a Peronist & befriends Latin American communist dictators. Bernie Sanders, a frequent speaker at the Vatican, described Pope Francis as a socialist, which is consistent with his insider Peronist background.
Archbishop Vigano has called for Francis to resign for covering up the viscous sexual abuse of Theodore McCarrick.
So the question is has the RCC veered to the left for a long time into the future? Is Pope Benedict a de facto prisoner of the Vatican?

The church continues to grow despite what you say. Numbers don't lie. You might concern yourselves more with the decline of Baptist membership here in the US.

From where I sit, I am pleased to say that there are more Ex-Catholics who are inducted into Baptist folds then they’re are Baptist’s going to Catholic Churches.

Here in Central New York - there have been about 20 RCC churches to close in the past 20-25 years
In the City of Oswego, All 5 RCC churches merged into one

The Catholic Church is run and controlled by men who are worshiping Satan. They are taking advantage of people’s trust in a Church organization to pleasure the flesh and pray on young children. All levels of said church are covering up and allowing this to happen. The Catholic Church has been abusing power for hundreds of years and is the church of Luciferian saints.

And the truth is that many Baptist pastors have been just as guilty as those few RCC priests, esp in regard to preying on young children. And other baptist pastors have been abusing their power as well as church administators
