"Conviction No. 2: “Soul competence” and “soul freedom.” These 17th century words mean every person is spiritually competent to open the Bible and, led by the Spirit, interpret it for their life and faith. And if competent should be free."
Were "His sheep" ever "hell bound?" What would a person with "soul competence" do to answer that fundamental question? Search and study their bible! What might be the meaning that we were condemned already for unbelief, John 3:18? Or that we were children of wrath, as were those "hell bound!" Ephesians 2:3.
Anyone have a problem with the concept of being saved? Some say we were never "hell bound" so we did not need to be saved. Never-mind, for all have sinned... Romans 3:23!!
