    Thanks Again Trotter!
    I looked all over MS website,found lots of documents refering to it but apparently they don't support it anymore. It's supposed to be a fine little Reg. Tool. Guess I'll find out!

    According to the info on MajorGeeks:
    The bolded words are a link to this page:
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;299958
    which explains the danger of using RegClean on a computer that has any of the following installed:
    </font>
    • Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2003</font>
    • Microsoft Office XP (Setup)</font>
    • Microsoft Office 2000 Standard Edition</font>
    Microsoft removed RegClean from their webpages because of this.

    If you don't have any of these, you shouldn't have a problem.

    In Christ,
    Trotter

    I mainly use Windows Registry Repair Pro (free version). I've used it for bout' 4yrs. now & it's a pretty decent program. I've downloaded several different ones to try & learned one thing, none of them ever seem to find the same errors, & the RRPro seems to find the most. But with the RegClean I just wanted to give it a try. It only scans parts of the reg., but it does a good job of restoring bad keys. My help files had been messed up for months, & I never could figure out the problem,(I would get a script error message at times)...after running the RC yesterday my help is a help once again! No problems what so ever.
