When a saint dies, does he/she become a disembodied spirit in heaven ?
Paul says that to be absent from the body is to be with the Lord.

Revelation gives a seen were the spirits of martyred saints are under the throne of God.

So, yes, I think so.

peace to you

As was already stated, to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord, but I would caution against imagining something that usually comes to mind when someone says 'disembodied spirit." I wouldn't even use the term.

The eternal realm is beyond human comprehension. We usually think of something like earth with more clouds rolling along the streets. But it hasn't even entered the mind of man what awaits us, so it's pointless to speculate.

nothing in scripture even hints at anything about that matter ?
