In response, the first lady tweeted, “A minor child deserves privacy and should be kept out of politics. Pamela Karlan, you should be ashamed of your very angry and obviously biased public pandering, and using a child to do it.” In a separate statement, Trump campaign spokesperson Kayleigh McEnany said, “Only in the minds of crazed liberals is it funny to drag a 13-year-old child into the impeachment nonsense,” adding, illogically, “Hunter Biden is supposedly off-limits according to liberals, but a 13-year-old boy is fair game. Disgusting.”

Later in the hearing, Karlan apologized for her comments, saying, “I wish the president would apologize obviously for the things that he’s done that’s wrong, but I do regret having said that.”

Her deer-in-the-headlights, response complete with shifty eyes: "Because I've been giving a lot of money to charity recently, because of all the poor people in the United States."

LOL. Really? I don't know what she took before "testifying," but I suspect it had to be illegal. The woman is clearly off her rocker, as in "a galaxy far, far away." Deranged is putting it nicely. Some professor.

Yes, Gaetz would be a rare bright spot in their world, though they better not let on they think so.

Gaetz was even more on target when he called out the elitist Karlan for her clueless, condescending assessment of why conservatives live less crowded compared to the clustering of liberals.

He also did an exceptional job of exposing the contemptible Karlan's utter incompetence in accusing Trump of using the royal "we" in his call to the Ukrainian president.

The woman is a fountainhead of the preposterous. Cue meme: 'This is your brain on leftist progressivism.'
