The RNC deleted my email about illegal immigration just last week without even reading it and today I received a so-called personal letter from them wanting me to send a check to support them. I get standard form letters back from my Republican Senators. The President all but ignores his base and casts aspersion on anyone who speaks out against his policies (like Franklin Graham, etc). And yet they want me to send THEM money. What gall!

    Ditto...

    But, what are the alternatives?

A bigger demon? A worse power?

    God, HELP! We need revival!

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Voting for candidates other than the socialists in the Demopublican-One Party System would be a start.

    Ken,

    we've hashed this out before...

Viable candidates are hard to come by...

The only way the nation will be in a position with a desire to vote 'good' candidates into office is after *real* revival...

Only a nation turned toward God can be enticed to vore for Godly Candidates...

    Revival First... Candidates after that...

We're probably stuck this mid-term election...

    But, who knows...

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Not one penny to the trash in either party. It will take revival to rid the American people of these two plagues upon us. (Democrats and Republicans). When are we going to open our eyes and realize that politicians do not care on thing about the American people or this country?

I guess I'm already revived then. [IMG]

There are plenty of "good" candidates outside of the Demopublican Party. With the rare exception of a candidate like Ron Paul who still runs as a Demopublican even though he is a libertarian, I'll vote for the men and women outside of the Demopublican Party from now on or I won't vote for any candidate at all.

KenH the bottom line is this "The Republicans control all branches of government" to try and put the uneven scales of blame on Democrats is dis-ingenious...and for those who like to use the Republican talking points " The Democrats have no plan" it is stupid politics to be co-opted while you are out of power...Bill Clinton was a genius for co-opting the Republicans..which was easy he really was a moderate Republican.

APAL you forgot to add that the republicans are controlled by the globalists. If and when the democrats regain power they'll be following the same plans and policies drawn up by the CFR and Trilaterals that the republicans do now. The democrats really don't have a plan of their own, but neither do the republicans. They only carry out those drawn up by globalists acting on behalf of their international banker big business sponsors.

    LE,

Have you tried your Congressman? They tend to be the most responsive of all the national reps.

Third parties may not win at this point, but they do tend to influence the main parties' platforms.

I am not as cynical about the Democrats if the honest brokers and hopefully that is the majority of them regain control of Congress they will do the right thing and give a hand up to the middle class...yes their are some democrats that will cater to global greed and power but if the majority of Americans can throw the Republican leadership to the curb they can do the
    same to Democrats.

We do need a 3rd and 4th Party in this country and it will need a hand up from a maverick who will go against his or her own party ...regardless a 3rd party and 4th is like going up against a Wal-Mart and you are a mom and pop store playing by the rules.

As long as Americans sell their soul to the devil by voting for the less "evil" of the two parties, they are going to continue to hold power, and continue to ignore the needs of the American people. In the best of times only 50% of Americans vote. Of those who do vote, there is a good chunk who are sick of both parties. If there was a true leader, they can be beat. We must believe that for the survival of our nation.

The survival of our nation is not dependent on any controlling party. Americans are not selling their soul to the devil. All is not lost, we are not without hope, the glass is not half empty.

Sheesh... talk about fear mongering and scare tactics.

Systems and parties are not the problem. People with their own agendas are the problem. But of course if you want a complete change of course in the basic principles that are set in motion at the conception of this great country, then you will need to show that those principles are flawed and do not work.

Discrediting is an easy process. It doesnt take much intelligence to critisize. It just takes a prism of negative outlook. There is nothing noble, right, moral, or intelligent about that.

Revisionism, misdirection, overlooking facts, mischaracterization are all tools used by anti-foundational zealots.

    Good luck with that.

It may not take much intelligence to criticize(correct spelling), but it takes a lot less to blindly accept the status quo and say nothing about our government which was founded on high principles rob the American people daily.

If you read the post, survival of our nation is dependent on not keeping the present parties in power because we as Americans are too timid to speak out. Actually, the survival of our nation depends on God's continuing grace to this nation, as He deems fit and is in His plan. You being a pastor, I thought would have figured that out.

Look around, see what is going on. Use your God and American given rights to try and make things better.

Or....you can sit timidly in the corner, shake, and accept what the democrats and republicans are doing to this country.

    Amen.

I'm sick and tired of both the Democrats and the Republicans. Something needs to be done.
