Many of these things could have been a part of the original law if Republicans had cooperated with Democrats in defining it. Instead, their only "plan" was to block everything Obama proposed. Why? Did they have the best interests of the country, especially the poor, at heart? No. It was just partisan politics. This Congress has been rated the worst ever. Then the GOP blames Obama for not being able to get much done. Ridiculous.
