    Only if He is working through us. He is everything and all riches are in Him. It is when we are simply the glove and He the Hand in us that we are rich toward God.

    Well this morning is first time I saw the thread, so that is part of it.

    Since the only passage that uses the phrase is Luke 12.21 and it is in the context of material things, I'd suspect as the passage indicates the reverse of laying up store for yourself. The reverse being, giving all for Him.

    That is exactly the passage that came to mind when I statred the topic. Could we elaborate on this? Does the verse tell us more about how we view our relationship with "stuff" (material possesions)?
