SHEPARD SMITH (HOST): One of the men who gave a prayer before the ceremony in Jerusalem today says he believes all Jews are going to hell. Robert Jeffress is the pastor at First Baptist Church in Dallas. Jeffress' views on other religious groups, and Judaism, as well as the LGBT community are well-documented.

Jeffress told reporters today, "Historically, Christianity has taught for 2,000 years that salvation is through faith alone in Jesus Christ." He goes on to say to reporters today, "The fact that I, along with millions of evangelical Christians around the world espouse that belief is neither bigoted nor newsworthy," unquote.

Here's Robert Jeffress in his own words. He told NBC News, "Mormonism has never been considered a part of historic Christianity." On Islam, quoting, "Islam is a false religion, and if you sincerely follow the tenets of Islam, then you will end up in hell when you die." On homosexuality, he's accused gays of being, quote, "engaged in the most detestable, unclean, abominable acts you can imagine," and said that the Supreme Court decision on marriage equality is "the greatest, most historic landmark blunder ever in the court's history." Shep Smith reports on anti-Semitic Fox contributor Robert Jeffress, who spoke at the opening of the US embassy in Jerusalem

That's right Shep! He is spot on biblical. Except Jeffress never said all Jews are going to hell (that's a typical Shep twist of facts spoken), only those who have rejected their Messiah. The disciples were Jews.

Shep is a gay leftist, no surprises here, except that Fox just renewed his contract. Second thought......that’s really no surprise either.

Shep is proof Fox is fair and balanced. He represents the left perfectly when he twist quotes and lies about what conservatives have said on a daily basis.

I think we all know Fox is not fair and balanced.

It's about the only place you are going to get the facts. Or the pertinent news for that matter.
Its a great network, but it's not "fair and balanced." It tilts liberal. Not half as liberal as the others, but it tilts liberal.

Why get in a tizzy over Shep Smith? He is media, ie, he spins the facts. But he makes Fox money. I’ve never met him so I don’t know if he is really gay, and it matters not a bit. He is an unbeliever. Period.

If Shep had any clue what a Believer was it would be a different conversation. But he has no clue what Islam is or where it came from. He has no idea what Mormons believe (change a few names and you have Scientology actually). And poor Shep has no clue what the Bible says.

Exactly how many have, this week, prayed asking God to speak to his heart? Has anyone EVER prayed for Shep? IMHO he would fit well on Whoopi or even Ellen’s shows. He is Media... not a journalist. He is entertainment. And if Rupert Murdoch thought he could make more money being all liberal like CNN we would see the changes next week.

No tizzy, just happened to be the subject of the thread. I admit I haven’t considered Shep in my prayers, & I won’t going forward. He’s on his own.

1 Timothy 2:1 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, 2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. 3 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
